So losing weight is easy. 2-5 pounds a week dropping off without a lot of thought. In fact, Linda told me the other day that she calls it the "easiest thing she has ever done." I love that.

But 85% of people just gain the weight back. Sad story. Weight loss is the focus of a diet. Long-term health is the focus of this program, and that is why people keep their weight off.
Lose it and never find it.

So after phase 1, weight loss (which goes quickly), we move into phase 2. And part of that is practicing the Healthy Habits we have been developing and living the "BeSlim" Lifestyle.
  1. Breakfast
  2. Excercise
  3. Support
  4. Low fat meals every three hours
  5. Individual plan
  6. Monitor

Money money money money...MONEY!

Are you thinking about it now? Let’s get down to the nitty gritty. The cold hard cash. The mullah.
Weight Loss & Money

spend more than earn = debt

eat more than burn = fat

So let’s compare: Breakfast

$2.50
160 calories
0 g fat

$2.50
700 calories
34 g fat

What a bargain! That is a lot more calories for the price.
And it’s true. Usually, unhealthy food costs less. That is the world we live in.

But what if it weren’t a cost? What if was an investment?

We either invest in health or we invest in disease. Every time you put something in your mouth, you are investing.

But the point of investing is for the return right?

So what do you get back from investing in bad habits?

THE COST

Personal:

  • $1,500 more a year on healthcare
  • New clothes when the old ones don't fit
  • More sick days unpaid
  • Less productive because of lack of energy
  • Discrimination costs in the workplace. Obese women are estimated to make $10,000-15,000 less per year.
  • Lack of confidence
  • Habits being passed onto family members & those costs
  • And let's be honest...if you are overeating, you are probably spending more than you should on food. Right?

National:
We spend 147 billion dollars a year just on obesity!!

What about the healthy people?
  • The non obese would save about $768 a year (yup, obesity is a cost imposed on everyone)

A Bad Investment

Whether you accumulate health or accumulate wealth, it doesn’t really matter unless you keep it right?

“I am great with finances”
“Oh yah? How much have you saved?”
“10,000!”
“Wow! What did you do with it?”
“Oh, nothing. I spent it all.”

Diets don't work
The average 40-year-old woman has spent $15,000 in the last 10 years trying to lose weight.
What costs more?
  • Doing something that doesn't work over & over?
  • Doing something right that works the first time?

So how much does it really cost to keep things the same?
AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO GET HEALTHY?
With this program, you have a personal health coach. And that is free. In fact, because we have reached out to help others, we have been paid to get & stay healthy. We can support our family by helping others.

But yes, there is an investment. An investment in health. So I ask people..."Do you eat?"
If yes, this program may not cost anything. Because the main "cost" is the food.
About $10 a day. Less than the average person spends actually.
It is designed so everyone who wants to can get healthy.
